Cathie brings an impressive 14 years of experience as an Interior Designer, with a specialization in kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Her expertise and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces make her a perfect fit for our design family.
Cathie earned her B.S. in Interior Design from a prestigious CIDA-accredited program at La Roche College. After graduating, she spent 8 years in Denver, working on custom residential remodeling and new build projects—primarily focusing on kitchens and baths. Needless to say, her skills align beautifully with the work we love to do here at Design N Mind Interiors!

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Cathie is married to her high school sweetheart (so sweet, right? ❤️). In her free time, she stays busy exploring her creative passions. When she’s not shaping pottery or getting her hands dirty in the garden, you’ll find her hiking, cooking, or spending quality time with her two adorable rescue dogs.
Cathie’s creativity extends beyond her work—it’s simply who she is. Her love for design began early, inspired by her father’s home remodeling business and the joy she found in decorating her own childhood room. From there, her passion grew into a lifelong career.
A Talented Designer with a Unique Edge
Cathie’s journey as a designer included an internship at a fine furniture shop, where she gained first-hand knowledge of furniture construction. This unique background gives her a deeper understanding of the entire remodeling process, from concept to completion.
Her approach to design is centered on truly listening to clients—understanding what they want and need in their space. She thrives on the collaborative process, helping bring her clients’ visions to life with fine attention to detail and exceptional communication.
For Cathie, the most rewarding part of being an interior designer is seeing her clients’ joy when their beautiful new space is complete. Her dedication to client satisfaction and ability to make every project feel personal is what truly sets her apart.
